Welcome
Do you feel as though you could improve your relationships, achieve more in your career and personal development but find that you often encounter roadblocks? My mission is to help you remove those obstacles that prevent you from reaching your greatest potential. I provide you with an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of these pitfalls which will ultimately lead you to finding greater fulfillment. Our fees are covered if your Extended Health Care Benefits include coverage for a Registered Psychologist. ApproachI take a holistic approach to counseling and psychotherapy by gathering the necessary information to give me a full picture of who you are as an individual, your environment and how you function within it.
You already have that which you need to achieve your goals, I simply empower you to use what you have by realigning your perceptions of what is. PsychotherapyProblems that arise at work, in our friendships and intimate relationships, can often cloud our judgment with anxiety, stress, anger, depression or passive aggressive behaviour because we lack proper coping strategies for difficult situations. Because we don’t understand how to best deal with difficult situations it is not unusual for us to feel overwhelmed, confused, fearful and unable to move forward in our lives. Psychotherapy can awaken us to discover the real reason we choose our behaviours. Once we learn how we tend to protect ourselves from the things we fear most e.g. and overcome the emotional pain derived from unmet expectations, we learn that we can choose our actions and respond in ways that no longer self-sabotage. CounsellingFinding solutions to problems, weighing options or planning a course of action can sometimes be overwhelming. An objective confidante can make our decision-making easier by offering alternative possibilities, show us a unique perspective or simply be a sounding board so we can air our ideas and gain some perspective on what our choices really are.
